Write your code, run your code, sufficient to create or locate a paragraph style, and sufficient to create or locate a named List Template.

Link the uniquely named Paragraph Style to the uniquely-named List template, then use Format, Bullets and Numbering, that horrible old never-worked-properly dialog, solely to inspect your handiwork:

So I messed up in translating the number format, but at least you can see that it is there.

We have successfully created a uniquely-named List template and associated it with a paragraph style.

It’s time to celebrate!
